Zaida Minerva Rivera

Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Zaida Rivera, died peacefully on April 10, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was 88. 

Born in the Dominican Republic in 1936 she immigrated to the United States in 1968 and raised her five children with her loving husband Felipe.  

Zaida was the heart and matriarch of her large family. She is survived by her five children, Milagros Galeas (husband Rodolfo), Francisco, Jose (wife Sandra), Rocio (husband Frankie), & Zaida.  She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren (and their spouses) and 10 great-grandchildren, four sisters as well as numerous nieces and nephews!  Zaida was predeceased by her loving husband, Felipe, parents, and many brothers and sisters. 

She was the heart and soul of our family, and she will be dearly missed.  We thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support!
